  Edit in Final Cut Pro and finish on film. No need for professional transfers with burn-ins or flex files. Shoot film, transfer it at home and edit for a release print. '


  Using Final Cut Pro's XML Interchange Format and DIY film-to-video transfers of your footage, you can edit film (with sync sound) and create an accurate cut list against which to conform your negative. 'Freekode' refers to it Kodak's Keykode method of edge numbering (known as MR-code on Fujifilm). Freekode is written in the Processing visual programming language and is free to use and to modify.

  Java 1.5+


  *If you are using another NLE that can generate XML, test it out on Windows or Linux
